Packed this morning and then went out for a walk around the local area and had coffee and a pastry. Got to the station too early but had a very easy train ride to Cordoba and then a taxi to the apartment. It’s very small but has everything we need and is in a good location. No outside space thought. Once we’d unpacked a little we walk d down to the jewish area, stopping for an empanada along the way. The area is very pretty, with lots of beautifully restored houses and patios. There are some large houses which are almost derelict though. Some of the roads are very narrow- our taxi took a while to get us here just because he had to go so slowly through the lanes. After a good wander around we came back for a cup of tea and a snack before going out to doing. We had Oxtail and goat, both specialties of the restaurant and both to share . I didn’t really like either, D liked both!
