Kniphofia at Phillack

I had to go to Phillack on an errand today and when I was there I saw these beautiful Kniphofia against the scoria wall.

Note: scoria. These characteristic black building blocks were made from the residue of the copper smelting process at the Copperhouse Foundry and they're also known as Copperhouse slag.
