I’m not sure what this big bird is on top of the Christmas tree - I think it may be a buzzard. I could see a couple of them circling in the sky and then all the little birds went quiet. It stayed there long enough for me to get the camera before silently flying off. They have such a beautiful haunting cry. This was the sky at about 9 this morning - it lasted about an hour - it’s now grey and raining again.
