Stopping for a moment ...

I rarely take time to appreciate our week front garden - but today when I was waving my sister goodbye I noticed how lovely this corner is with the autumn colours. 
The red schizostylis or river lily is growing through the curved branches of the spirea - these are quite immature plants but they have established very well. It's been busy at our house today. Our bedroom has been replastered very efficiently.  
I'm so tired tonight .  Tomorrow is another day.
