Road trip

We wandered some back roads we've never been on before, and found this lovely nature preserve. 

Although the sign said it was on the migratory route for many water birds, they must have taken the day off.

It was still a beautiful place, and we both managed to enjoy it.  Al's arm was protected in a sling and didn't bother him too much.
