Stepping stones
We returned to Sannox and a mid tide allowed us to cross the Sannox Burn by the stepping stones, a favourite of mine as a child, then the boys and now Liv.
The rain stayed away and the beach could have kept Liv occupied for most of the day. We had lunch at Mara in Corrie and afterwards I visited the wee bookshop where I was offered a glass of red wine by the charming owner, which unfortunately I had to decline, and a helpful conversation about badgers which are more widespread on the island than I’d realised. This rather confirmed that the disturbance in the back lawn is probably snuffle holes.
