A very busy day, spent with my Editor-in-Chief hat on this afternoon and evening. I have just been ‘stood down’ by my Author, who insists that I need to go to bed and can continue tomorrow! Hopefully the proof-reading will be finished by lunchtime tomorrow.

Smithers has been doing sterling work in keeping me fed and watered. This was the scone he produced with my afternoon cuppa, spread with home made blackberry jam, which was a gift from our friends who came for lunch a couple of weeks ago.
