Leaves

‘Leaves, leaves, leaves,
falling from the trees’

That is what Leo used to chirrup when he was little.

Campus is looking very autumnal with leaf strewn paths wherever you go.

I had a very productive day. At last I could get on with things rather than fire fighting issues.  It has been a hard start to the term, with things failing and taking loads of chasing to resolve.  Hopefully it will all be onwards and upwards from here.

Leo was full of beans after.another good driving lesson with his instructor.  He has just an emergency stop and a pull up on the right and reverse manoeuvre to try next time and then he will have worked through the lot. After that it will just be getting in the driving time and practising things over and over to prep for his test.

I got him to practise his reverse parking when I got home so he could get the car down the side of the garage and make way for Ian to park up when he got back from Surrey.  He did a grand job on his steering with his mirrors.

Hopefully it won’t be too long before he will be ready to take his test.  He has a bumper 6 hours with his instructor coming up across half term so that should get him well in his way
