Scales

The weighing scales I use in the bathroom were inherited from my mother and must be at least twenty years old.  The battery has finally given up and we have discovered that it is irreplaceable.   So we went out today and bought a new set of scales.  Personal scales have certainly changed considerably over the years, today it's just a sheet of glass. Very modern!
