Treasure

Many years ago - when I was a kid- we all used to go down to the show field on the morning after the show to walk the field litter picking, our prize would be what ever we found lying in the grass.
This year Susie came to help, I had told her the story of treasure hunting on the show field and the joys of finding a tanner -2.5p in today money- I haven't found a single penny since 1967...how spooky to find a 50 pence piece this time!

I think according to the mars bar inflation scale this is nearly right, they were sixpence back then and I think about 55p now.
Might treat myself !
