The Early Bird

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellow,

The good news is that Punky seems back to his old self!

That was a quick recovery. He was a bit nervy this morning, but now he's prancing about and purring. I'm very impressed by his resilience. 

That made me feel good.

What also made me smile a lot was this. I opened the front screen door today and COLIN!

He swooped right down and let me know he was ready for his cat biscuits.

I'm honestly astonished by this little bird. He's so smart! And full of personality. He was so close and let me get a good look at him with his little whiskers around his beak. 

I'm just waiting for him to hop inside the house next time. It's possible he might move in.
