Clogged Up

Back to work today.  As a temporary member of staff (I've been back working part time for over 4 years now), I was caught out by the suspension of my computer account as the digital services team put an end date for access to the council networks every 6 months.  I wasn't sure I was going to continue working but I don't like to leave things half done so will keep going for a little while.  I was in the office early so had to wait until someone was available to unlock my account.

On the way back home I grabbed an opportunity to take photograph in the brief period of sunshine.  This canal is landlocked, a disbanded arm of the Staffordshire and Worcester Canal that originally joined with the Cannock Extension Canal in the 19th Century.  I was surprised how overgrown the towpath was as it is a previously well used footpath.

In the evening it was a meeting of the photographic society where we chose our images for an inter-club competition.  I was chuffed to have two of my images chosen, including one only taken on Monday.
