Sandgate fun!

Today we had a lovely family day together. We told Spence last night that we would have a family meeting in the morning and discuss our options of things to do. We agreed the meeting would be at 8.30am and it would be on the couch!

We ended up having it at 8am and Spence was very excited! We went around and everyone got to suggest something that they wanted to do for the day. We ended up going with Kaz's suggestion of going to Sandgate which is a suburb of Brisbane just over an hour away and has a cool park as well as being on the bay. We had never been there before so it was exciting!

We got there are about 10 and the kids had a play in the water first. It was blackish sand and we didn't have their bathers so their clothes got pretty feral! They had a great time though!

We got them changed and then had a big play in the park. It has three wooden forts connected together and then a smaller one as well as sand to play in and tracks up the hill. We had a great time.

After that we went and had lunch at the Full Moon Hotel up the road a bit. Kaz and I shared a burger and then a dessert at the end which was good.

We were home by 2 then had some relaxing time playing the Playstation and I even went for a run. I took Joti in the running pram while Kaz and Spence stayed home!

It was a great day! Here is Joti making a beeline for the water. We quickly took her dress off then let her go!
