Rejected

Had my away day today. I won two prizes for asking questions and also for registering my learning. Met my senior manager Dave briefly and then Tom for brief lunch. Was happy to see him chirpy, since he had his epilepsy attack a few days ago! I didn’t go for the bowling post the away day because I wanted to rest before going to either of the two events: Buddhism chanting, or garba night.

On the way out, I said my hellos to Rachel. She said that she was going to message me and talk to me and said that if I had a moment she’d like to chat about the interview. I said yes, and then sadly she mentioned that they had offered the position to someone else. I felt upset when she mentioned that, but asked for feedback she mentioned two things first was to align the first couple of questions to the banks’s wider goal and second the CPCs I should have starred with examples and not have thinking before. And said that overall interview was good. She said she’d inform me if there are any more open roles.

Feeling depressed on the way home, I got myself and Liam cookies. And now on the way to buddism chanting where I hope to meet my fellow Indian: Siddharth!
