An abstract of hand blown glass vase I purchased many years ago on a trip to Cumbria. I’ve two such vases so I’ve photographed the other as an Extra. I love the colours and textures which were once fluid and changing, and are now captured in the solid glass.

A better day today with no sleeping during normal waking hours! I enjoyed sitting on the bench in the garden in the late afternoon sunshine listening to the birds calling. The wind is blowing from the north which means the noise of the A27 (which is a mile or so from us) is being taken away from us. What a difference it makes.
