Today visited Christchurch Priory the building was started in 1094 by Ranulf Flambard on the site of an existing church, over the next 300 years the original church was added to and improved until the reign of Henry 8th, very interesting also spent time in the museum an great day out in the autumn sunshine.  https://www.christchurchpriory.org/fabric-history/brief-history
