A quick visit...

... to the local library - passing this lovely mural next door to it -  for a book launch by an old friend. Jo, the friend, has written and self-published a funny and moving account of a life-threatening sepsis episode. As the whole saga started during the pandemic, there are insights too about that period.  The book also includes many vivid vignettes about life in in intensive care, and the subsequent period of rehab.
