Glorious Elm

Very chilly this morning but the sky was bright and the elm in the park was looking magnificent.
Only a few walkers but plenty of blether during and over the cuppa.
Cafe was a bit short-staffed with several regular helpers off but we got by without too many complaints.
Once the clearing up was done I was interviewed by a student who's doing a project about the Community Centre and overall community and then I had to go and do someone's shopping and deliver it. By the time I was home and everything sorted out it was about 9 hours after I'd left. Fortunately Mr Rat was doing the cooking so I collapsed for bit until the food was ready.
This evening I've been finishing off some admin needed before a weekend away.
