I report this section of path most winters for being dark but as I notice it when it's dark I haven't previously spotted that there aren't actually any lampposts between this bit and Easter Road. Perhaps someone imagined that it was sufficiently overlooked by the Thorntreeside flats, or they were supposed to put some lights on the side of the buildings.
