Spent the rainy part of the morning battling with a webchat session to try and get roaming sorted on my phone. The operator would not listen to my idea that the add on had never been activated by them as I'd never had a confirmation email.  After being sent round in circles and told I'd be called back in 72 hours, I finally got passed to someone who worked out what had happened. At least I've now got the access I've already paid for.  What a Brexit bonus the abolition of automatic roaming has turned out to be.  
Set out to catch the bus to one of the nearby beaches.  Easy journey and a beautiful beach.  Enjoyed a couple of swims in the lovely warm clear water but realised that my fitbit, supposedly waterproof, had got water in it. It did survive swimming with whale sharks in Australia but perhaps they just get less waterproof as they age.
