Northern Lights -edited blip

My sister texted me and suggested I point my phone camera to the sky. A gazillion photos later, I chose this one. I moved our “after vaccines treat” original blip to my extra. Hubby had a follow up with his dermatologist this morning. She was pleased with the results of his using a chemo cream on his head. She says the pre-cancer spots are gone. He picked up my meds and made an appointments for him, mother and me to get our flu shots. My mother also got the latest COVID vaccine. She was hungry so we went to lunch. She no longer cooks; we like to take her out for a hot meal as often as possible. The meals were very good, especially the warm biscuits. They were made and baked perfectly. The entire staff was as nice as they could be. They gave my mother a fresh cup of coffee to take home. I had a 15% discount coupon. They bumped it up to 20%, I guess because we are old codgers. We are taking my mother back home and then we will probably sit in base traffic all too long before we get home. We will work outside tomorrow but it was important to get the vaccines while my mother was willing. I haven’t seen nor read much news about hurricane damage but one report said there were four confirmed fatalities so far. Hug the ones you love and stay safe.
