"Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps"

That song by Doris Day was one that I exercised to in my SwingFit session today.

I took a few shots around the village this afternoon but with such a clear sky,
Perhaps... there would be an aurora tonight. There was!

I wondered if,
Perhaps... I would manage to get a shot of it. I did!

I had kept an idea since May in my head,
Perhaps... I could go down to church and get the silhouette of the tower as foreground interest in an aurora shot. It would look good on the website. I did, but by that time the burst of activity had passed.

Never mind, I am blown away by what I saw tonight. Blipfoto is full of auroras, great ones, and so it should be. This is the first convincing aurora shot I have done in 15 years. It may be a lifetime before we have another year like this one for seeing the Northern Lights.
