Left Hook

This lethal weapon belongs to one of the sweetest little kitties ever. She loves to be petted but there's that certain moment when she wants you to stop. The trouble is she doesn't tell you when that moment is coming, she just hauls back and swats like a jackhammer. The trick is to read her little face and to try and outguess her.

We're having a nice time together this week becuse I'm kitty-sitting while her owners are away. I've known her since she was a kitten so I've gotten pretty good at reading her and anticipating the swat moment and so far I've avoided the dreaded left hook. However, should anything happen, her compassionate and understanding owers left a nice supply of band-aids along with her feeding instructions.
