Thursday: Morning View

I woke up just as the sun was rising so was able to enjoy this amazing view.  It was incredibly peaceful.

The rest of the day was spent in a conference room but there were definitely compensations, such as the coffee break on the deck, overlooking the mangroves.

Dinner tonight with my US colleague.  She’s always excellent company and it’s refreshing that we have dealt with some similar issues here.  We also spent a bit of time picking out a new countertop for her kitchen in L.A.

I will confess that I’ll miss views like this.  Our next destination does have a beautiful coastline, even if we won’t be living on it.  It doesn’t have palm trees though.
