A complete American experience

What a wonderful day we've had today. One of the highlights of our trip was going to a Chicago White Sox baseball game. Today they were playing the Atlanta Braves, so we were in for a treat!

Wonderful atmosphere in the stadium and especially moving was the national anthem being sung ... The whole stadium went quiet and you got a real sense for how patriotic Americans are. Enjoyed hot dogs, burgers, beers and the like. Ben waved his foam finger appropriately and we all really enjoyed being there although it would have been nicer with some of our friends.

We then headed back to the city and happened to stumble upon Willis Tower and so headed up there, I'm into tall buildings. Fabulous views of Chicago on a clear day and we even got to see a storm coming in. It has rained every evening around 9pm since we've been here!

I'm so glad Martin suggested checking out Chicago, I really like it.
