It's this time of year again!

I walked past this house this morning and recorded the scene as you can see in this image.  Halloween is a period in the year that I really dislike, its satanic overtones do nothing for me and I just wonder just how edifying it is for children growing up.  Others will say it's just a bit of fun - but is it?

For this dark subject monochrome is appropriate.
