Out the window

It was a busy day. I took the car into the garage for its rear brakes and disks to be replaced and went for a walk into Exeter. I took various shots of the derelict boats that always appeal to me on the way. A quick cup of coffee and then the bus back to the garage. All was done and thankfully no new issues picked up.

I spent the afternoon getting my stuff together for my trip to London tomorrow. In the evening it was photography club and one of the slots was showing a selection of images from our trip to Scotland earlier this year. One of our group chose 6 from each of us and spoke about them. It was interesting seeing which he chose and what he liked about each one.

Back home l needed to ensure l was ready for an early morning departure so thought I would not have time for blip as the boat ones needed processing. We had been advised that there was a red alert for the aurora so l took a few images out of the window on the phone. I couldn’t see these with my eyes though. Others in the club who went out did see it with their eyes. This means l can easily blip these. It would have been tempting to go down to the beach with the camera but not with an early morning start.
