Thill mi dhachaidh

We had a good drive back from Cairnryan and got home just after 10. I had been conscious of the red aurora alert but there wasn't really anywhere to stop en-route. By the time we got the levels had dropped and it was cloudy in Pitlochry but was still lucky enough to get a glimpse through my phone from the garden. This is the fourth time we've seen them this year and there should be more over the coming months.

As much as I enjoyed being away it was good to be back in my home bed and I slept really well.  It was a lovely bright morning and I headed down for my usual Friday morning swim for the first time in three weeks. The water was noticeably chillier but lovely to see the trees changing colour.

The rest of the day (and much of the weekend)  will be spent catching up with washing and other household and garden tasks along with personal and volunteering admin.

Thill mi dhachaidh a-raoir. Chòrd turas rium. Chunnaic mi Na Fir Chlis. Shnàmh mi a' mhadainn seo. Bha i nas fhuaire.
