Catkins

It was very chilly here this morning…frost on the ground and lots of car windows being scraped clear before owners set off for work.

I was out for my walk around 8:30…and the sun was shining brightly so the frost soon cleared.

Spotted the catkins in a hedge alongside the footpath..I believe that they are on a hazel tree. A sure sign that autumn is progressing…

Managed a 4 mile wander today, which brings my total for the year to 919, leaving 81 miles to do with 81 days of the year left.
