The moon "dot" from the pale blue dot

Not the best moon photo but appropriate for tonight. Many of you will have followed Christchurch blippers' experiences of the earthquakes of 2010, 2011, 2012 and even now. Its been a hard few years. But I didn't realise how much scarier it is when you have loved ones in another city going through the same experience! Stay safe Kariba and Zane. Hope you get some sleep tonight and the shocks continue to decrease.

Made me think about our insignificance which lead me to this animation based on the words of the astronomer, Carl Sagan. It's cool.
