I'm Drowning!!!!

Alaska vacation back blips start here.

Twenty minutes after I arrived home from the airport, the sky erupted and the rain lashed against my house. The winds were howling and the lightening flashed one after another.

Just a few minutes later, I looked out back and saw my yard under water. I had never seen so much water accumulate there before.

I had actually never given much thought to how my yard drains. I still don't know. I was just amazed to see cactus drowning like this.
