Just a Sunset

We escaped the builders... again! This time we had a lovely lunch at Greg and Cathy's, with a nice after dinner wander down to the river and back. Somehow I didn't take a photo and neither did Greg... remarkable!

On the way home I had a plethora of messages on my phone from neighbours... The builder had finished for the day, locked up and pushed the keys through the letterbox, but had left his van keys and phone inside! Happily, a local friend has a spare set, because the traffic was as usual a tad thick for us...

In the late afternoon we walked off the lunch, beer, wine and whisky (ahem) with an under up and over the village. This was the sunset today; not bad, eh. Presaging perhaps a good weather weekend. Hope so, for all of us.
