Craigmillar Castle

A lovely sunny day, but bitterly cold. Partner out to meet people for coffee. So a solo walk around the park. Not too far as I am expecting a parcel. Fortunately I can track delivery, so managed 30 minutes before heading home. It felt a pleasant in the sunshine despite the temperature only being 8degC. Delivery driver turned up while I was having lunch. 

After work, a nice walk. Craigmillar Castle was looking fine surrounded by trees in their autumn colours. On the way back down the hill, we spotted two crane flies. I don't know how these flies survive, they both flew in to old spider webs a couple of times.
