Dee-Dee
I talked MrsP into having breakfast at the diner this morning. It was a brisk start to the day, jacket and gloves required, but definitely worth it! We purchased another pumpkin to place near our front step, then stopped at a few stores to pick up specific food items for our freezer and pantry. MrsP calls it nesting, stocking up on essentials in case of bad weather or treacherous traveling; we love being spoiled and retired :) • I mowed the grass, I hope, for the last time this season; MrsP weeded a section of the garden • Only three insects observed today: dragonfly, sulphur butterfly and woolly bear caterpillar. No swallowtail cat spotted!! • This young black-capped chickadee perched in the cherry tree with a treasured seed nugget • Peace & Love
