Leaf Ladder

Back to work this morning. Not something I was looking forward to at all, but in the end the day turned out alright. There had been a surprise change in the rota, which meant I had a (far more sociable) shift in the main office… a much better way to ease back into the routine. During my time away the sky had not fallen, the other shoe had failed to drop, and my return was altogether free from unpleasant revelations. Even the long Monday meeting went by painlessly… definitely a win.

It was a rather murky day overall, with a mix of sun, clouds and heavy showers. On the way home, I stopped along the lanes near Waldershare Park and took a short stroll to grap my blip for the day. These early-autumn orange leaves seemed to glow against the dark green foliage in the background, and I was quite pleased with this composition.
