Burası Turkiye*

Walking home with Rufus from Sahara restaurant at 21.40 after Friday night fish and chips and a beer with Claire, Dave, Lorraine, and  Bev. The empty boardwalk a reminder that the season is just about over and everyone is going home. Daytime temperatures still nearly 30ºC and evening temperatures still warm enough - no jacket required. 

This pleasant evening brought to a close a day when Dave, Lorraine and I had gone to Didim for 2-3 hours on some 'official' business tasks, regarding residency and internet provision. As always here in Turkey, where the official bureaucratic paperwork route for reaching an end goal destination is always more like a maze with pop up dead ends and ever changing exits, we were not successful.
