Out and about

We walked down to the Waterfront this morning and had breakfast by the bay. We then walked up to see the Cenotaph and the Parliamentary buildings . We were allowed into one of them after going through security. They had an exhibition showing the development of NZ government which was very interesting . We then headed back to Lambton Quay to catch the Cable Car.  Lunch next before exploring the Botanic Gardens. I may not have mentioned this but Wellington is quite hilly!  Moving on tomorrow but not before we’ve met up with someone who used to work with us before she emigrated.
