Blue

I've popped down to Wales to visit my Mum.

I was a little surprised to find this Common Blue on the seafront in Rhyl, not in terms of location but it's comfortably a month later than I've ever seen one before. They do fly in October though- possibly a third brood. There were a couple of Small White too.

Mum is back in her care come after a spell in hospital. She is increasingly frail but will perk up a bit when looking at old photos. Another birthday is around the corner.
