After yesterday’s shenanigans, the morning started off a lot better. It was a gorgeous bright sunny day, though a bit chilly – about 5 degrees outside. I had to put the heating on in the car for the first time since the summer, but the countryside looked beautiful in the morning sun so none of that mattered. After dropping Gubs at school, I stopped at the top end of Appledown Way before heading into Canterbury. This bright red and white road sign contrasted nicely with the blue sky and provided a handy early morning blip. Work was fine, and although the day was fairly long, things seemed to go quite smoothly… and it’s Friday, which always helps.
