Hello Lovely Blippers,

...it's not Christmas yet - but it is still BCAM 2024.

We had to draw lots today to see who would be going with Mr & Mrs HCB to meet their Blip friend, Amanda, at a garden centre a couple of stops down the M4 motorway and we were the lucky ones! 

Amanda, her neighbour, Jo and of course, Beau, were already there when we arrived so lunch was quickly ordered before we all had a wander around. 

You have NEVER seen so much Christmas paraphernalia in all your life as well as all the stuff for Halloween, which as Christians, the HCBs don’t do.  We know that Mrs HCB was particularly upset because in spite of there being LOTS of Advent Calendars, there was only ONE with a religious theme and they was a very small one!  As she often says, and she is right, the name of the season does give a clue - CHRIST-MAS! 

Ah well, guess we can all choose what we spend our money on - and we don’t think it will be more Christmas decorations. 

We sat on one of the displays - rearranged slightly, of course - this is Mrs HCB, the Rearranger, we are talking about - and we think that dear Admirer would have giggled because we all ended up with artificial snow on our bottoms - but not Mrs. HCB we hasten to add!

PS It was Amanda’s birthday today so we all sang Happy Birthday to her! You can see her in the extra with Beau. We think she enjoyed seeing the HCBs and us, of course!
