Liverpool waterfront

A quick trip to Liverpool to check out an exhibition that I can take my group to. It’s been a challenge as we meet on a Monday and all the local museums and galleries are closed on Mondays. Fortunately in the case of the Museum of Liverpool unless it’s school holidays and the week I’d like to go happens to be half term! And they currently have a small exhibition about Merseybeat, which hopefully links to our themes of memory and nostalgia.

We also went to see the socially engaged photography exhibition at Open Eye Gallery, which less fortunately closes before we will visit (as I thought it was excellent). Although they are closed to the public on Mondays, I might have been able to get a group visit as they commission the project.
