We tripped the light fandango

My phone pinged at 806, telling me that the Aurora was bursting its seams at 800 ickies.  I know not what ickies they are, but I know that 800 is WILD

I left Himself to the football and took off.

How I wish I would not be so scared in the car by myself.  Or how I would wish that The Aurora didn't burst into life when the football was on.

I drove to the beach.    It was too bright.

I drove to the little car park by the old swimming pool which was nice, but let me see that it was cloudy, and then it rained.

I drove to the place that we got the brilliant shots last time, but I just wasn't seeing it.

I thought tomyself, I'll drive over the hll, out the back road and look from the dark corner.

I got to the end of the road, and discovered that the road I wanted to take was closed, and I had to take the wee road I didn't want to. .

It's very dark, very covered in trees, very bendy, and barely more than single track.

I was poooping myself.

the farther I got into the road, the more cars i was coming across. People had obviously decided to find dark coners,   I stopped for a minute, but could see no one, but could hear a million threats in the bushes and the trees behind, to the side and to the other side from me.  I was petrified.

I was scared.

So I drove on through the wee dark road, and reached the next village.

Came out the other side of the village and sat in a little bus stop maybe about 400 yards from the house.

TOnight, I could see it without my phone.   Very feintly but it was was.there,  and pink and green in the sky.

I love being able to see it, but am also worried about why.
