The Rhine Gorge

An interesting morning travelling through the Rhine Gorge. Many castles and towns to view from the ship, each with a story to tell.

We are now in Koblenz and have had a walk around the town and a ride in the cable car across the river.

The Rhine is a highway for huge barges carrying good of all types. Along each bank are railway tracks and there has been a continuous stream of goods trains in both directions. Germany is a busy place.
