“Twins”

Well we were born on the same day of the same year! Marie Noelle and I met for lunch after two years today. She has lived almost 40 years in Australia now but always makes time to see me when she is visiting her family in the Valais. She is one of a tight group of Leysin friends who held me together when my first husband died and I disintegrated. Our friendship makes the current wrinkles melt away and we are those young women again for a brief period of time! I am lucky to have several friends from that intense time who I still see very regularly. I thank all of them for their love.

Graham and Della have gone with David to spend their last evening with our younger son, Steve, and Beverly, his wife, so I’m having a quiet time with the rain pouring down outside and the cats playing chase. Preston forgets his limp sometimes but then it is worse afterwards! Will he ever learn to be reasonable? 

Thanks from the moon of yesterday’s blip, it was a very lucky moment!
