1st day off ... WooHoo!

Day comprised of an early appointment followed by escaping to my parents for a good couple of hours to catch up with them.

Dad was looking at treadmills on eBay & spotted one not too far away in Droylsden so I offered to take him or a nosey. Mum had things to be getting on with at home but they have been having sat-nav issues with their new car so Dad & I decided to go in that and try to get it working. As it happens the problem was a tiny one...for some reason Android Auto had switched itself off...we popped I back on in the the menu and voila!

Back at base I didn't feel like tea. After eldest had hers I asked if she fancied some fresh air on Biscuit. She did and as the temperature outside was very fresh indeed, we both wrapped up and bimbled off into the evening.

We pootled around some of the M60 to the airport and sat under the approach to watch a couple of aircraft drop in above our heads, the first being a ginormous Emirates A380. Afterwards we headed down the newish bypass to find Marple and head back through Romiley to Hyde.

After enjoying a warm supper and popping on the television, I managed to fall asleep on the settee, waking freezing cold in the early hours. Wrapping up warmed me up eventually before drifting ack off to sleep.

No pictures were taken so my blip is a Phonebox of sorts that someone has sticker bombed onto a galvanised trailer. Very random but a Phonebox neve the less.
