Hebden Bridge

A & I took the train to Hebden Bridge to have lunch with friends who kindly collected us at the station and drove us up, up and up to the Robin Hood Inn at Cragg vale( see extra).

We had coffee and afters back in the town.

Our journey home was delayed as the train after 2 mins just outside Mytholmroyd after the train hit someone and a replacement driver was required. The train staff kept us up-to-date and us passengers were stoical and calmly waitedfor an hour. A& I were fortunate that the train travelled, once moving again, directly into Leeds but there were people who had to then travel back to the missed stops like Halifax, Bradford or Pudsey!
