Gloom

It was wet this morning. And cold. And windy.

Proper Scottish October.

I turned up for Parkrun anyway. It is a way of life.

I got wet. I got cold. I got windswept.

Great fun.

In spite of it all, I ran a good time. Positive mental attitude.

I chose Loch Leven Parkrun for today because they were celebrating their 250th event - or trying too. The volunteer team looked cold. And wet... and... less than jolly.

My Blip is the entrance to Loch Leven's Larder where we have coffee afterwards. I just bought my croissant and baguette quickly and disappeared home for a hot shower.

I bought white wine too - an unexpectedly good Côtes de Gascogne. It comes from the Gers area just west of Toulouse. It was warm and dry there today. No wind to speak of.

The wine was an ingredient for risotto - a mushroom one this time. Also delicious.
