Spooky Saturday (...Almost)

Rich and I popped out for a few lunchtime tots with Phil today, spurred on by a Halloween beer that contained squid ink..! I had to know what squid ink did for the flavour, and the answer was, rather anticlimactically, not much. Like, a vague salty tinge? I maintain that the apple sour I had at Sommar was also spooky simply by virtue of being bright green, and we all got excited at the prospect of Beetlejuice themed nosh at Fat Hippo, until inside the restaurant, realising those specials don't kick in until Monday. D'oh! Still, I had a delicious chicken burger and waffle fries so no complaints from me! 

Back home and Rich and I watched 2 scary movies (Mom And Dad, and Event Horizon) as a catch up on the 31 Day Horror Challenge as I was out last night.
