Mural

This mural is portrayed on Shed 1 at Queen's Wharf in Wellington harbour. It honours June Jackson one of the area's highly respected Māori elders.
We saw this after meeting our friend Louise who now lives in a Wellington suburb. We worked with her in London seventeen years ago. It was great to catch up with her. 
We then took the Interislander ferry and are now safely in our hotel in Picton. Sadly, the weather is dreadful - torrential rain and strong winds. Fortunately it wasn't like this when we crossed the Cook Strait.
