More autumn colour!

It’s a bit of an uneventful day after yesterday’s ‘adventures’. I spend a lot of time working on photoshop trying to master ‘fine art’ treatment of shots from the equine workshop earlier in the year. I’m making progress - slowly! 

Any plans for a walk in the afternoon are swiftly abandoned due to the torrential showers that descend - first rain, then hail. G is determined to continue working in the garden, and of course ends up soaked! 

There’s little left to photograph outside, such is the drastic nature of G’s pruning, but he’s left the tubs which have given wonderful value this year. Most things were bought from Tesco at giveaway prices, and they’ve flowered for months. By now, sweet peas (Sarah Raven not Tesco)  are normally long gone, but this one is still bearing flowers - I really don’t recall them surviving into October in previous years. 

So it’s the sweet peas that make my blip today, with an extra sent from Meols of Lili eating lunch with her little hat still on! So cute!
